Lingerie brand opens on South Molton St

136 year old French luxury lingerie brand Aubade opens its first stand-alone store in London on South Molton Street.

The retailer opened a 418 sq ft store featuring lingerie, swimwear, loungewear and accessories at 4 South Molton Street, in the West End, this autumn.

Aubade was founded in 1875 in France when its creator Dr Bernard created a girdle and corset-making company. The first Aubade store opened in France in 2006.

Duncan Gilliard, of Cushman & Wakefield is advising Aubade, said: "Aubade is a very strong brand which is expanding internationally and has just opened its first store in Copenhagen. As well as South Molton Street the retailer plans to open in other high-end Central London areas."
